Why should one think positively?
Because, Vedas state, “Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavati”
“Mana eva manushyanam karanam bandha mokshayoho”
“Yato yato mano yati tato tato vachah pravarthathe, Tasya tasya samarthasya vyavahara prasiddhaye.”
This tells us that “Wherever our mind goes, our speech and action follow it. To be successful, you must first train your mind to think positively and productively.”
It is famously known as “Energy Follows the Thought!” in the western world.
One who is fighting chronic cancers and even survivors must understand how effective it is to think positive. The following sloka from Bhagavad Gita will guide you there!
“Karmanye vadhikaraste, Ma Phaleshu Kadachana, Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani.”
Meaning — “You are free to work, but you are never entitled to the rewards of your labor. Don’t let your drive come from the results of your deeds. Instead, focus on what you are doing now and the advantages it will provide.”
